Brigade Encampment at FortNisqually

Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, Point Defiance Park, 5400 N Pearl St, Tacoma

11am-5pm.  Journey back to the year 1855 when the Fur Brigades from east of the Cascades camped at FortNisqually. Over 100 volunteers will recreate the 1855 arrival of the fur brigades to this Hudson's Bay Company post. The camp brings the sights and sounds of early WashingtonTerritoryback to life. US Amateur Golf Championship

The U.S.Amateur, the oldest USGA championship, was first played in 1895 at NewportGolf Club  in Rhode Island. The event, which has no age restriction, is open to those with a Handicap Index of 2.4 or lower. It is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the USGA, 10 of which are strictly for amateurs.

8:30am-12pm.  Join us in the fight against Alzheimer's disease by walking with us on.  Join thousands of Memory Walkers for a 2 or 3.1 mile through the neighborhood of AnnieWrightSchooland along the shoreof Commencement Bay. Both routes are paved. If you find that you can not finish the route, there will be shuttles patrolling the walk route to pick you up. Rapsody 2010 - Annual Ride Around Puget Sound

Starts and ends at TacomaCommunity College, Tacoma

Enjoy the scenic back roads of five Washingtoncounties while supporting statewide bicycle advocacy and education on the Sixth Annual Ride Around Puget Sound.  With 170 miles of rolling hills, doing RAPSody in one day is hard, two days is challenging fun. The route crosses the TacomaNarrowBridge, uses portions of paved trails, and provides many wonderful Northwest views.
